Therapist |
Elaine Fordham spent 30 years in the NHS as a nurse and then a midwife. She has also been a part time teacher of health related subjects during the past 5 years at a college of further education in Hampshire. She trained for her holistic qualifications with Helen McGuinness at the Holistic Training Centre in Southampton.
Elaine has run an independent Holistic practice in Hythe near Southampton in Hampshire since April 2008

Aromatherapy Massage |
Treatments can be:-
Half body massage of 55 minutes to include back, neck, upper chest shoulders arms and hands.
Full body massage of 90 minutes to include back neck arms upper chest arms and legs (optional extras: head, face and abdomen)

Facials |
Relax while your face is treated to a richly nourishing therapy.
Your face will be gentle cleansed, you will then receive a free skin analysis to determine your skin type and a guide to future skin care routines. Your treatment plan will be formed and suitable products chosen from the excusive Oceans Blue Range.
A gentle exfoliating routine follows with an indulgent, aromatherapy oil face massage to stimulate the circulation and sooth problem areas.
A deeply cleansing and deeply hydrating mask is applied; meanwhile your hands and arms will enjoy a relaxing, soothing massage.
Your skin will be toned and refreshed with either a floral hydrate or Lime spriter/toner (the choice is yours!)
Puffy, tired eyes will be banished with our best selling product - the Frankincense and Jo-Joba Eye Gel.
Finally our super hydrating moisturiser will be applied to complete the skins transformation to radiance and beauty.

Hot Stones Massage |
Hot Stones massage is an exiting HOT massage technique that as been introduced from the USA and is sweeping the UK. Once experienced, it is requested repeatedly and is often described as "sheer bliss" or "sheer heaven"
The stones are used as heated tool. The stones become extensions of the therapists hands almost "replacing" them. This makes the massage experience a completely different experience from a manual massage.
The warmed stones expand the blood vessels pushing blood and unwanted waste materials through the body. This has the effect of producing a sedative effect on the nervous system.
During or after the treatment the heated stones are placed all around the bodys energy points, including the hands, in-between the toes and along the back etc.
The stones can be used in conjunction with aromatherapy oils.
One of my special aromatherapy blends contains Marjuram, which is enabled to reach deep tissues when used in conjunction with hot stones.
Treatments are
55 minutes including back, upper chest, neck shoulders arms and hands.
90 minutes including back neck upper chest neck arms hands legs and abdomen (head and face optional).

Special Combination Treatment |
This is a treatment designed by Elaine to address problems with neck neck and shoulders and is proven to help aspiring golfers with problem swings !
It combines the best parts of the conventional Swedish Massage and the Indian Head Massage.
This treatment includes using hot stones and a special blend of aromatherapy oil.
Treatment is 90 minutes.

Indian Head Massage |
Indian Head Massage is a treatment that has evolved from traditional techniques practiced in India as part of a family ritual for thousands of years.
The treatment has been adapted to suit the western life style to include parts of the body vulnerable to stress such as the shoulders, upper arms and neck.
Collectively they represent a de-stressing programme for the whole body.
Additional benefits include:-
* It is attractive for use in the work environment as it is not necessary to undress
* It may be performed anywhere, due to its portable nature.
* Clients with special needs (eg. pregnant clients or physically disabled) may receive the treatment with the minimal amount of fuss.
The treatment takes 45 minutes.

An uplifting zingy citrus synergy of refreshing healing Bergamot, soothing gentle Mandarin and hydrating Palmerosa. Perfect for those with a combination skins but preferring a less flowery perfume.
The Crystal Range
A pleasing, flowery combination of Lavender and Geranium: a perfect combination for those with a dryer but never-the-less combination skin.
The Sapphire Range
Blends exotic Rose and hydrating Palmerosa. This is an ideal formula for woman of all ages and skin types.
